Some significant changes have been made to the functionality of this online application. Read this message carefully.
When you administer this test, you now must do so in real time. In the event you experience an interruption in your Internet connection---which is a factor beyond our control---you should contact X-RTS for a new Test Authorization Number or to receive credit for your usage if you have an open account. We will be able to verify your difficulty and make sure you are not charged for this usage.
In the past, customers have been able to enter data from a List of Trials. That feature is no longer operational. We have found this change to be necessary to protect the integrity of our test. It has come to our attention that test administrators have improperly assumed that the absence of statistical outliers on the correction screens meant that the validity criteria has been passed. In some cases, the actual calculations for validity were not performed and the Test Authorization Number remained unused. This practice has, without a doubt, resulted in some non-compliant persons to be mis-classified as giving a valid effort. We are certain that our customers understand how this practice inevitably results in harm to the reputation of this test. The practice of not allowing the application to calculate the validity criteria completely defeats the purpose of this test---which is to objectively classify effort, based on the numbers, and to move this field away from the intuitive interpretation of physical performance data. If you do not have an Internet-capable computer in your testing area, you can access this application on an I-phone. We understand that this will be inconvenient for some of our customers.
In the very rare event that you receive the "Three Zeros" message on the screen, your Test Authorization Number will be retired and you will receive the same report as in the past. We will send you a replacement Test Authorization Number if you gave the subject the opportunity to re-take the test and the test was subsequently re-administered.
